Right to life: I believe in the sanctity of life, that we are made in the image of God and that every pre-born child has the same right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Firearms: The 2nd Amendment is very clear that the government has NO AUTHORITY to infringe on Americans pre-existing right to keep and bear arms.

Property Tax: I believe in the right to own private property and that once you own a property you should not have to pay taxes on what is already yours. Additionally, paying higher property taxes because of increased assessments is hurting our community and must be stopped.

Accountability: Every elected official should be held accountable to the people at all times, and if elected, I will bring forth legislation for a recall mechanism. The people deserve to be represented…not lied to or used for their vote.

Wyoming Lands & Resources: A strong advocacy is necessary for Wyoming Lands and resources to be controlled by the State of Wyoming, not the federal government. Wyoming people know how to take care of our lands infinitely better than those who live hundreds or thousands of miles away. It’s high time we take back our land and resources!

Election Integrity: Our elections are one of the most important aspects of our country and our citizenship. It is our duty to make sure our elections are protected from manipulation and compromise.

Parental Rights: I believe that parents know what is best for their children and have the right to make the decisions that are right for them. Lately the lines between parental rights and government interference have become blurred; allowing government officials to usurp parents rights. This issue is near to my heart and I will always fight for the rights of parents!

Education: As a homeschool graduate, I will advocate for school choice. I want families to have the ability to decide where and how their children will be educated.

Marriage: I am a firm believer in traditional family values and the environment they provide.

Sexualization of Children: Children are our most valued treasure and the future of our great state. Unfortunately there is a movement seeking to sexualize subsequent generations and I will always stand against this destructive practice.

Government Overreach: Freedom is an unalienable right given by God and something we must all strive to protect. Our freedoms are NOT conditional, and whether you are talking about government mandates or overreach into how we use our land, I will always stand against any entity that wishes to subvert our freedoms.

I was born in Scottsbluff, NE but a few months later my family moved to Riverton where my dad pioneered a church for 11 years. Of my 45 years, I have lived in Riverton for 35 of them. I met my beautiful wife Beth here in Riverton and together we are raising our son, Anthony. We love it here! I am always most comfortable around down-to-earth people and Fremont County is chock full of them.

My work has primarily been in residential construction. Currently I have my own small business installing hard surface flooring and custom showers. In my spare time I am building a geothermal greenhouse to grow my own food.

I am running for HD 55 Representative because I have been disturbed by how some of our legislators have been representing our community, and while I have never desired to enter the political arena, nor do I want to be a “politician”, I understand that if I want to see change back toward freedom and liberty, it has to start with me.

The majestic mountains, wide open plains and rivers of Fremont County have always brought a sense of peace to me. This area, and the state of Wyoming in general, is so unique and special to those who live here and experience all it has to offer on a daily basis. It’s under attack though. The freedoms and values we cherish are disappearing at a pace that is frightening. I fear that if we don’t act now, the things we love about our great state will be changed in a way that does not reflect the place we love. For far too long government has been reaching into places it has no business being in…and taxing us into oblivion while they’re doing it. Many of our representatives in the Wyoming Legislature refuse to stand up for us and that must stop! I am asking for your vote to be a firewall between government and your liberties…to stand up for you and your families!
